How to play Win for life?
There are two panels of numbers: “Panel A” consists of 28 numbers from 1 to 28, while “Panel B,” also known as the Cash Ball Panel, includes 3 numbers ranging from 1 to 3.
- Choose six digits (numbers) from Panel A.
- Choose one digit (number) from Panel B, also known as the Cash Ball Panel.
- You can select your desired numbers to play the Trinidad Win for Life lotto, or alternatively, you can choose the “Quick Pick” option on the payslip. If you select this option, the terminal will randomly choose numbers for you.
The cost of participating in this lotto is $10. By investing $10, you have the chance to win a substantial prize. You can choose to play for 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 draws evenly distributed. Additionally, if a player holds a winning ticket and has participated in multiple games, they can exchange their ticket for the upcoming draw (which has not yet taken place).
The exchanged ticket will be issued with a new serial number but will display the same selected numbers for the wager. The ticket will only be canceled if authorized by NLCB authorities.
System Wagering
System wagering enables you to choose more than the default six numbers for an extra cost, thereby covering a greater number of combinations. The game provides options for systems 7, 8, and 9, as detailed below.

Second prize: Win $20,000 every month for 2 years by matching the six numbers in any order from the first field without including the Cash Ball.
Win additional prizes by matching combinations of numbers, with or without including the number from the Cash Ball.

All prizes are fixed; however, if there are more than 4 winners in tiers 1 or 2, the total prize amount will be evenly shared among all winners in the respective tier.

- All prizes exceeding $1,000 are subject to a 10% Winnings Tax.
Validation of winning tickets
Agents can redeem winning tickets valued up to $12,000. If the winnings on a ticket surpass $12,000, players must redeem their winning tickets at NLCB offices.
Players have 180 days after the draw to validate their tickets either at an agent or at NLCB offices.
Payment of Prizes
Top prize (match 6 + Cash Ball)
- This prize will be paid in monthly installments of $20,000.00, with a 10% winnings tax deducted, over a period of 20 years.
- Prizes will be disbursed in monthly installments to the winner’s bank account by a pre-assigned financial institution.
Multiple Winners
Between 5 to 8 winners
If a Win for Life draw has between five (5) and eight (8) winners of the second prize, the total prize value of $1,920,000.00 (for four (4) winners) will be evenly distributed among all winners and paid out monthly over a period of 2 years.
If a Win for Life drawing has more than eight (8) winners of the second prize, the total prize value of $1,920,000.00 (for four (4) winners) will be evenly distributed among all winners, and the prize will be paid in one installment.
Second prize (match 6 without the Cash Ball)
This prize will be disbursed in monthly installments of $20,000.00, with a 10% winnings tax deducted, over a period of 2 years.
Multiple Winners
If there are more than four (4) winners for the second prize, the total prize value of $480,000.00 (for four (4) winners) will be evenly distributed among all winners and paid out monthly over a period of 2 years.
Between 5 to 8 winners
If a Win for Life draw has between five (5) and eight (8) winners of the second prize, the total prize value of $480,000.00 (for four (4) winners) will be evenly distributed among all winners and paid out monthly over a period of 2 years.
More than 8 winners
If a Win for Life drawing has more than eight (8) winners of the second prize, the total prize value of $480,000.00 (for four (4) winners) will be evenly divided among all winners, and the prize will be paid in one lump sum.
Tiers 3 to 8
Winning tickets for tiers three (3) to eight (8) can be claimed at any NLCB Lottery Centre.
Beneficiaries
Upon claiming their prize, winners of the top and second prizes must designate a named beneficiary. In the event that the winner passes away before the end of the payment period (20 years for the top prize and 2 years for the second prize), the remaining prize payments will be made to the named beneficiary.

Top and second prize winners will need to furnish standard ‘know your customer’ documents (a list will be provided upon validation of the winning ticket) to facilitate recurring monthly payments.
